Earth colonizes Mars, and it all goes terribly wrong. Several hundred years after the disastrous event known as the Great War, the survivors have formed their own society, religion and rigid identity. Born into this society is a slave with no name, only a serial number who refuses to go by it. His role is to kill, bringing riches and fame to the nomad camp he belongs to that wanders the surface of Mars.
This Nameless Bounty Hunter is cast into events that shape the future of Mars, forcing him to rally his merry band of misfits to deal with the cruel overlords, cyborgs, slavers, and much more as they try to stay alive, and make enough money to leave Mars for Earth's other more prosperous colonies across the solar system.
Will they stay alive, succeeding and making enough to leave desolate Mars for a better life? Or will they become just another set of shallow graves that litter the dunes of Mars?
